Many people, assume the Voice chat option is on. CCP set the default to disabled. Check options in game turn Voice chat on and Push to Talk off. 90% of the time this is the fix.

I have had this happen once. Tried to repo' it but can't figure it out. I recall someone saying if you use L1 to open the Neocom when you are on the war-barge, this can happen if you load in the battle. But.. IDK... can't seem to get it to bug.

Have ya tried, Port Forwarding , and connected via cable? I haven't gone through the steps myself, but the feed back I got, says "Lag spike from time to time but much better than usual."

I buy skill books in the skill menu almost every time. Are you guys sure you're not injecting a skill book your not qualified for? if the skill book has a red "X" next to the name then trying to learn that skill will crash the client.
